Once upon a time Ram Vilas Paswan had launched a very audacious political campaign against the misrule of RJD.His effort led to the ouster of RJD government but he complicated things for himself by not forming an alliance with the Nitish Kumar led coalition.After the advent of Nitish Kumar and all round praise showered to his governance,Paswan had no option but to align with the RJD.
This was not appreciated by the voter and Paswan himself suffered very humiliating defeat.Some success in the recently held by elections has ignited some hope for them.But Nitish Kumar has strengthened his position further and is unlikely to be unseated in the next general assembly election of Bihar.Mr.Paswan can,however regain some political space but he has to get rid off from the " opportunistic tag"associated with him.Instead of solely relying upon caste and creed permutation and combination,he should state his vision and start striving to achieve it.
